Tam o shanter ww2?

Hello all. can anyone please help me on this cap. Told it's a Canadian WW2 tam o shanter with WW2 badge.

The badge looks good for me, but cap is way different in size, material, stitching pattern then 2 war dated tam shanters I have. Post war. It is military issued becasue of much sweat staining etc. No marking.

It certainly has similar characteristics to my 2 Commando Tam O' Shanter,I wouls say it is a perion piece. Very nice cap indeed

This "caps. TOS" is without doubt a modern British made example as worn from the 1960's through the 1990's.
The badge appears to be original, just not to the Tam however.

I have to admit that having actually taken my TOS from its case and examined it,there are several glaring differences to the one posted here,I was wrong in my initial statement,I now believe that the one posted here is a post wartime TOS.
