Hi Dave, they are not British and are not wartime (either war).

              Cheers, Ade.

Greek from the mid 70s or as like I to say re-enactor pants.

The '34' lable makes me think these were part of a Theatical or movie prop department at one time.

Perhaps some 'candy' to spice up the house cleaning??

Mitin was a firm that treated Dutch post-war BD uniforms against moth.

From the top of my head they are identical to the SD trousers I was issued with early '90. It's design was copied from British SD just after the war and remained roughly unchanged until recently.

Agree, not British and not wartime, but these are not Greek, either! Greek ones had the first field dressing pocket on the right thigh. Markings and labels (if present) were quite different.

Something that's not of interest to this thread or forum, maybe, but just to put things "right", the Greek army of the 70s was dressed in the contemporary US military "fashion". British style uniforms were used from 1941 to the end of the 60s. Some other European country, maybe?

                      Cheers, Giorgos

                          Dutch .

The Irish Army only wore short shorts .

These are either post-war French or Belgian trousers (most likely French). Have a close look at the stamp next to the label.

Mitin is a chemical agent to prevent mothing.

                            Regards,

Most French items has the large # label .
                              So Dutch is wrong .
