    Polish para beret

    i will be posting two photos of ww2 polish para berets shortly
    one is faded to a tan -brown
    the other is a private purchase grey

            Polish Para berets were British made. But the real question you should be asking is, are these Polish Para berets? The answer is not they are not. Brown is not a Polish Para colour but gray is. The first beret has an Italian made badge on it. The second beret appears to be RAF blue that has been washed many times.

              hi billy,the first beret is grey if you fold it back near the sweat band you can see grey ,its just well faded.
              the other is not a raf one well at least not the type i know has anyone got an original they can show ,thanks will

                  What is the date, 1943? That should be a 3-piece beret then, before that date a one-piece beret was worn.
