An interesting fur hat with quilted lining that belonged to an American pilot who joined the RCAF before the U.S. entered the war and then transferred back to the AAF after Pearl Harbor. He also had flight suits with this maker's mark in them. Not as sexy as other headgear but something out of the ordinary. Was this a common style of winter headwear in the great white north?
