    Are These Life Vests RAF?

    Hi All,

These came from a grouping of a guy who flew for the British during WWII. My question is are these 2 life vests RAF?

    Thanks in advance,

They look German to me, as does the gas mask tin.

        Hi,
They look like the things divers wear.

Are we looking at the reverse/back of the vests? The inflation lanyards are similar to the US B-3 vest. However, I would have expected to see a manual inflation tube present. These could be postwar, European-made versions based on a US design? The strap configuration is different from a B-3/B-5. Possibly a USN version?

            Neither are wartime Luftwaffe items.

Thanks Guys! They both have the inflation tubes on the side. The gray one is backwords.

I will post them in the US section,
