    WWII RAAF wings

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to tell the maker of these WWII RAAF wings? They appear to be unmarked.

    Thanks,
    Eddie

That's not an RAAF wing, but rather an RAF Officer's Sidecap badge

The item shown is, depending on it's wingspan, either an officer's sidecap badge or, less likely, a sleeve eagle or epaulette eagle. In either case, I don't believe this is an RAAF item -- at least not wartime. RAAF used blackened metal badging on the dark blue uniforms into the 1950s.

Trying to identify an umarked item is a pretty daunting task.
