        It was a fully independent unit and scooped the world with he first motion and still photos release to the press and the only colour photos taken on the first day.

          Cdn units

          Just remember the Canadian Parachute Battalion is designated ( 1st ) NOT First.

          That is true, Canadian Film and Photo Unit of the Canadian Army Public Relations Group. However you could also add Correspondents as well as part of the PR Groups.

          There were also those from the Army and Navy as Beach Group personnel, Official name escapes me at the moment, as well as Forward Observation Groups.
