    Demolition Bag?

Saw this in an antique shop. It is marked as a British "Demolition Bag." I have been trying to find some information without success. What type of British kit is this, and is it worth more or less than a $100.00? I didn't try to pull the metal container out of the pouch, and it doesn't sound like anything is inside when shaken. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, Zach

Zach, the crimped metal tips on the straps and friction buckles are unknown to me, I don't think this is British kit.

Thank you so much for your response. I seem to remember seeing something that looked like the tin inside the bag, kind of like a cleaning kit for .45 pistol rods? I don't know, I couldn't get the tin out and didn't want to force it. Thanks again I will try in the US forum maybe. Zach

This is a piece of a US wartime demolition kit.
There was a large bag containing the TNT or other kind explosive, and a smaller one which you are showing here. The tin that is still in the bag contained all the devices needed to prepaire the explosive charge.

Can't tell you more about this item but perhaps other US military collectors can?
          Good luck.
