Hi I obtained this a couple of days ago sadly the lugs are removed and it's been pinned could I have some opinions please on originality.Regards to all Roger

That's an original cap badge, probably converted into a sweetheart brooch. Not an uncommon practise.

Hi, I agree with Luc 100%.
The added pin makes it a nice variation in my opinion.

Here is another example of a pinned parachute regiment badge but much smaller measuring 4.4 mm at it widest point. I presume a so called 'sweetheart' pin. Just for your interest.
