British medals

Hi all,

November 3rd I received these medals as a set but I am very doubtful of the authenticy of:

1. The Air Crew Europe Star
2. The Atlantic Star
3. The Pacific Star
4. The France and Germany Star

The others I do not have a problem with at all.

The seller claims all to be authentic. Please state your thought so this matter can be cleared, thanks for your help!

I agree, I don't think they are good. The poorer detail and the blunt tips give them away. Here is my Air Crew Europe Star for comparison.

The Aircrew is certainly a fake in my opinion, yes. The V over the W; ribbon ring; bronze colouration.....etc. And that's before you get so called technical as much as you can on these things.

I'm by far from competent in any sense of the word these days on British medals (come to think of it, I never was), but rather than fakes per se, I think you may have one or two that are 1970's ''official'' re-strikes.

Lets hope one or two more chime in for you.
