need help with white brit mp helmet please

hi i am hoping some one can help this caught my eye . have looked all over the net but can not find much out . only these helmets were used from 42 on
this one is dated 19.42 .the paint looks like its lead based has any one seen a white one before . any thoughts on what one should cost. thanks

Although I cannot remember seeing a helmet in this exact configuration before it all looks authentic to me. I know I have seen several period photographs of white dispatch rider helmets but, of course, could not seem to find them when I looked just now! Maybe another member might be able to provide some shots.

A nice looking helmet all round.
