    Medal question

    Hi chaps,

    I got these medals today along with some other items.My question is is this in the correct way mounted and is the Croix de guerre correct in this set?

                  If you post the name of the man that won the medals I may be able to tell you what the Belgium medal is for........its is a slim chance but possible.

                      Shouldn't the CDG be first in line or is it relegated because it is a foreign award?

                        Foreign medals/awards, even if awarded for gallantry, etc, are always worn after all other medals.

                        Pity it's not a named group.

                          Yes that is a pitty it came with a pair of L/Cpl stripes and a Glengarry for the London Scottish regiment,but i don't believe that the glen and the medals go together because from all i know the LS fought in Italy so there should be a Italy star there.

                            The Glengarry has a blue pluum or what ever the correct english it is for it on top of it is this correct for this Glengaar form the London Scottish??

                              Yep. Unnamed WWII groups suck. I sure wish I knew who this guy was. I saved the group from being split up by a dealer friend. A story that will remain untold.......
