british tank hat badge??????

this was purchase today from a local sale today for a mear 25 cents...I don't know much about this type of badge but i believe it to be british.....time period,
well i'm guessing ww1?????????? any imput would would be appreciated thanks members.........

Its a sergeants arm badge from the Royal Tank regiment, and it does not look like a restrike.

RTC or RTR sleeve badge, and I would go with the restrike assesment.

Restrike and It looks as though the die that made It was In pretty poor shape.
