      Hi Guys,

      MFA = Mercantile Fleet Auxiliary.

      A search on this will find you a good bit of info on the internet so I won't elaborate too much...

      Hope that helps!

        Bloomin wierd! I've just been reading this, and then this thread pops up (Twighlight Zone music). Basically, in its modern day incarnation is the Royal Fleet Auxiliary - fleet replenishment: fuel/victuals etc.

          Thanks everyone, so this would be a British Victroy Medal? My brother found it cleaning out a house in Rhode Island.

            Hi Chuck,

            Yes indeed a British WWI Victory medal. Unfortunately I can't tell you a thing about the recipient other than the obvious information impressed on the rim... I can say thought that he appears to have survived the war as he is not listed on the casualty database...

            Cheers!
