Staff officer visor, WW1 or WW2?

Hi everyone,
I have had this nice staff officer visor for sometime now and am wondering whether folks think it is WW2 or WW1 or interwar era?
I have thought it looks WW1 but it has a thicker chinstrap than is typically seen on Great War caps.
Any thoughts?

Looks to me as a early (pre-??) WW2 brigadiers cap.

Green under pear and spiral lining are an signs of an early cap, also the red backing to the badge, later ones I have seen are usually black, the chin strap doesn't look too thick to me either.

It is from the late 1930's into ww2. The old Army and Navy Cooperative Society had stores in Calcutta and Bombay. The name was changed to Army and Navy Stores in 1934 and was open to the general public as a department store, thus it is easy to date this cap.

Great! So it seems that is likely a 1930s piece as it has a 1934+ label but a configuration that is reminiscent of the Great War.

It is the lining in the crown which reminds me of the construction of a late WW1 vintage peak.
