RMC body armour, good or bad?

These are the pictures that I have for now, but are they good enough to make your thumbs go up or down yet?

        Mrc

There should be clear markings on the originals ... date .. crowfoot etc ..
.. The only caution is to watch for post war belgian items ...
I think Ade might be able to clue you up on them ..

Gary, they weren't stamped abundantly it appears, at its best a faint BMB stamp.
I'm pretty sure this isn't a Belgium one, but I'm not sure if it is genuine or not.

            Thats

            Luc,
The BMB stamp is a good sign !!!!
They are the same company that made the Para Helmets, they specialised in Manganese/Carbon steel items !!

Just from that stamp, I would say that there's a pretty good chance that the Body Armour is of british WW2 vintage !!

It is indeed Belgian. The key to these is that the rivets, although the same style as the Brit wartime sets, are for some unknown reason put in the opposite way around.

                Cheers, Ade.
