    Original turtle helmet?

Hi! What do you think about this turtle helmet? Original from World War 2? Sorry, I didn't have anymore photos of the helmet...

Thank you for taking your time.

    Best wishes from Per.

Might not be. The paint is late-war. The MKIV came out in 1945. There is a chance yours might be war time . Can you see a date impressed into the shell ? What date is on the liner ?

      Regards,
      Steve

It is not my helmet but the sellers said he saw no markings or something like that inside the helmet.

Agree. The liner should be dated, certainly post war :
Dark bleu paint, low position of the chinstrap rivets, lift-the-dot liner fixation, green elastic chinstrap...
Wait for a WWII one, they are not too difficult to find.

Definitely a Mk.IV model. The makers stamp will be high on the rear skirt. The guy who has it may need a small flashlight to see the stamp. By the looks of it, it is probably a 50's dated helmet.
