Hi all.
This turned up yesterday. It Is the most complete grouping I think I've ever found. The man was local to me and was called up In 1940, he trained In light Anti Aircraft In Yeovil bofore going to KRRC. He remained with them through the Western Desert and all subsequent campaigns until wars end. The paperwork rund from his call up papers through demob with some amazing stuff In between. It looks as though he kept vitrtually every piece of paperwork he could and there are meal tickets, leave passes, travel warrants, hotel chits, theatre programmes, etc etc. There's even a forces bus ticket from Casino to Alamein. I haven't managed to sort It out Into chronological order yet so please forgive the way the pics jump from campaign to campaign. I was so excited I just wanted to get It shown, this one really belongs In a museum. There Is still more I didn't bother to photograph.
I hope you all Like It, Regards, Guy.
