Question about WW1 overseas service stripes

This set of overseas service stripes came with a nice straight 1914 trio to 1/4 Suffolk Regiment. I'm familiar with a red stripe indicating service before 12/31/14 but I've not seen a green one before.
    Any help much appreciated thanks,
    Garth

    And blue for 1915 onwards.

Not 100% sure but could pre war enlistment serving with a certain unit battalion/headquarters/staff.

          You're sure?

What about Perth, is it in Scotland or Australia? Maybe there is also a Suffolk in the middle of Africa.

              Raf/rfc

Aren't these for the RAF/RFC. I'm away from by bookshelves so can't be entirely sure.

That might be the case as there was some family lore he joined the RAF after WW1. I have his 1914 trio but the medals are all named to A.R.WNYARD SUFFOLK REGT.

I too thought that they might be RFC or early RAF, I'm sure I've read it somewhere but can't remember where.
