A Navy MKII Helmet?

Hello!!I like to share with you this mint MKII helmet, inside with 1942 stamp and with a leather accessory on the back fitted straight to the liner (it hasn't any hole typical of the civil helmets).
Should it be as navy use due its colour?

Liner is Dutch so I would suspect a post war civil defense helmet. What is the makers stamp? Chinstrap lugs look Canadian to me.

At first sight I don't see any makers stamp on the inside...I have to check better.
I see a number and after 1942...I agree about the strap...looks canadian to me too...but someone told me that maybe, due its colour, would have been used by navy!??

Looks like a post war used helmet ,you see a lot on ebay .Rob

This one has been given a new paint job and used either by the BB (Civil Defense) or the PTT (Postal Service).
