British Siebe, Gorman & Co Ltd Civilian WWII Gas Mask

I've had this mask for a few years now, and it's just been sitting in my gun closet, so while watching American Gangster the other night, I thought I would take pics and put them on here.










This seems to be the only defect with teh mask, the 5 point attachment at the back of the mask seems to have dried up and become a little hard.





























The mask came with every shown above, handbooks, instruction sheet, cleaner, and carrying bag.

What a great complete set. A very nice find
I'm pretty sure this isn't a civilian gas mask, i have two of them, and they are of a very different design.
From what i can tell these are for civilians in home front jobs such as air Raid Wardens. It states on one of the booklets that it is a "civilian duty respirator".
A much rarer & sought after item than a standard civilian mask.
