AE2 information?

I am building a ship in the bottle model of the AE2 at the Dardanelles and and hoping someone could confirm that the vessel had the PENDANT number 82 on the conning tower. I have a copy of an art work showing this but would like it confirmed before I commit,

Hi Mark, you should e-mail the Submarine Museum in Portsmouth.
They hold all the photographs of British submarines in their archives, including the "E" class.

Thanks for your reply Brent, before I could work on that link, some really helpful folks at the Submarine Institute of Aus nailed the answer. The 1920's oil painting is incorrect and the AE1 had pennant number 80 and the AE2 was 81,now I can finish the model!
