Royal Navy patch. Help needed

Hi everyone,
I´ve purchased recently a militaria lot, and amongst the items were this one. May it be the real thing? As I have no idea about it, I'd like to know your opinions (and informations). I don't even know whether it belongs to the WWII era, but since most of the items of the lot were, I guess it can be... It's about 7,2 x 9,2 cms.

I would say it's a civi Blazer Patch for Weekend Captains.

The crown is post 1954 and it looks to be a civilian fashion item.
