    Australian Air Force Insignia

    Greetings everyone! Recently, I picked up a set of blackened brass RAAF Warrant Officer's insignia/order. I know these were for tropical wear, and a friend of mine said they were worn on leather bands that went around the wrist. Is this true? does anyone have an example of these bands?

    although I don't have any examples to show, I have seen this sort of thing in the past. If I find any pics I'll post them, although one of our other Australian collectors such as Chippler or Lone Pine may have an example.

      Hi, I pressume the RAAF one would be the same or similar to the British type worn by WOs, I have several examples, all follow a similar design.

        WOW, this is the first time I se these. Never seen it before. I've visited a lot of museums in Great-Britan but never seen it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
