    Help needed with Naval? Bayonet.

I have seen this bayonet which I am thinking of bidding on and would be grateful if anyone could identify this bayonet ant also comment on whether it is genuine and also give me an idea of its value. It has an anchor mark and some numbers marked at the base of the blade. It also has a peculiar rond fitting at the end of the hilt asa shown in the photograph.
    Thanks,
    Peter.

Swedish M1896, for 6.5mm Swedish Mauser, quite common item, 665,000 were made. Also used by Finland during ww2.

A few years ago there were many of these Bayonets about at Arms Fairs and Flea Markets. Glad to know they were actually Swedish and used in WW2, though I did not buy one. They used to sell for about £10. Regards, Clive.

Thanks Mietek and Clive. I didn't allow myself enough time to get information so I didn't go to the auction
