    Canadian 78rpm patriotic record

    Hello

    I picked this 78rpm up at a Goodwill thrift store, cost me 50c, havn't got a record palyer I can play 78's on though ! but I reckon its probably war time?

      Well a little older than that. This is 'Great War' vintage Stanley Kirkby was very popular at that time. Not sure though, as it could be a wwII restrike but I doubt it

        I was thinking exactly the same (WWI) from the Columbia label design, but once again would have to do some research to know for sure.
        The cheapest way to get to play 78's is a 60's portable, they usually have 78rpm speed, probably not cost effective to buy one just to play one 78!
        I like to play mine on this (but not too often as they aren't kind to 78's)

          thanks for the response, I google him after I posted here and thought the same that it was probably WW1 or just after
