    New Zealand M.I.D Trio with tragic twist

    Here is a recent local purchase that was unresearched until now. I went into archives New Zealand today and reviewed the file. Very interesting and sad to say the least. The newspaper clipping was enclosed in the file.

        An interesting twist to a trio . Must have been a nice surprise ,having a jumper and from The Arc de Triomphe ! Rob

          Research, even when tragic stories such as this are revealed, are what sets collecting Commonwealth medals apart from all other types of "militaria"...

          Any idea what the MiD was awarded for?
