    british Artificer?

    Hello,

Can some one confirm if this is a Artificer? On the back side of this badge is written: service london

And what will it pay when i sell this thing. Because some one is very interested.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cheers Tom

Indeed this is the articifers badge (hammer and pincers) also found in cloth worn in both wars. I like it because it was worn by the WW1 Tank Corps.

I know an original source of these for 1 pound each. Real value I would say is just under 4 pounds.

What is interesting is the marked backing plate you mention that persons interest may be in that plate because I dont consider the badge itself as rare. The original uniform cloth is another nice feature.
