    WW1 British watch with guard

Hey Guys, one of my recent buys from the war and peace show this weekend, I mainly collect WW2 pocket watches, however this looked interesting. Can anyone provide me with any info on this watch. There are no marks on the back of the watch and when you open the case it says swiss made. If you look really close there is an L. On the inside of the case someone has scratched the number 17926, it is very small, maybe done with a pin head? Anyways, any info would be much appreciated.

    Ritchie.

Ps - is there a thread on ww2 gstp pocket watches, if not anyone interested?
