Indian Airborne BD - Is it right?

I`m no expert on Airborne stuff, that I confess............just have a look at this and cast your opinion......thanks chaps.

Hi Steve,

Yes this one is as right as rain. I've examined this one in person. Sold by Peter Taylor c. 2 years ago if I remember correctly. What's interesting about this piece is the black glider troops badge it has on it - I've never seen another example.

I can't quite remember but I think this unit only existed post-war.

Thanks Jack. I was wondering about the absence of a war medal ribbon on the medal bar on the tunic, one of the hallmarks of a eBay seller we know, but if you say its right then thats good enough for me.
