Cap Badges

How would you go about valuing cap badges? I recently acquired the following:

1. Malta Regiment plastic cap badge with MM
2. Plastic RASC forage cap badge
3. South African First Reserve Brigade
4. South Africa, Natal Mounted Rifles
5. Plastic Australian Commonwealth Military Forces
6. SA Umvotie mounted rifles - brass
7. Brass Royal Artillery

I attach pictures of some others....however, I am unsure as to their identity.

Guessing this is infantry related?

I recognise the silver wreath badge as a Queens crown RE.

The first is the South African First Reserve Brigade badge..its the second that I am interested in.

All I can make at - and with some effort - is possibly the word 'Highlands'

I think it says "die nederlandse regiment", which would make it South African I guess. I see some other SA badges, the flaming bomb is Italian, the bi-metal is a post 1952 Royal Engineers. As for value, RA and RASC in plastic are common so I'd say 5 pounds.
