Help with some info ww1

am searching out info on my great grandfather and iv got his service record
He was a lance corp on it its say under his address. Action taken List M/1425
does anyone know what this means

I take it you have your great uncles medal card? The number you are asking about is more than likely just a reference number. The best way to find out more about your great Uncle is to get on to the British National Archives.

i only have the medal card what were printed from the national archives not very clear heres a picture of his medals.the ones of the left belong to my great and the right one is my granfather
