    HELP Need info on this picture

    Hi all !!
    just got this picture and was woundering if it is British or not ? What kind of cartridge pouch they wearing ? I do not know much about this area of military , and have been all over the net trying to find out what kind of uniforms these are . Sorry for the poor pictue !! I tried to enlarge the picture a little but did not help .

      A bunch of horse drivers puttee wound from the knee down,spurs whether cavalry,RA ,RASC who knows the badge is too indistinct in the Middle East,India or some other hat climate.

        Its could be anything. Infantry transport sections also wore spurs and bandoliers.

        Normally I find these type of photos in group lots and other photos provide an indication as to what the unit is.

          Under a glass the cap badge and collar dogs appear to be a star so could be RASC or 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards but I lean more towards RASC.

              The cartridge pouch is the Pattern 1903 bandoleer. It came in two versions, infantry and cavalry.
              Each pocket on the bandoleer held 10 rounds of .303 ammunition in two five-round chargers.
              The infantry version had 5 pockets on the front. Cavalry version had 5 pockets on front and 4 on back.
              Non-cavalry mounted (i.e. RASC, artillery, etc) used infantry version. Can't tell which is being worn in your picture.
