Brazilian RAF titles

Brazil patches

Hi,

I think these patches were used by the Brazilian pilots in Italy.

Where did you get them?

There is no evidences yet that brazilian pilots fought under command of the RAF, but Brazil sent money to build some Spitfires....this money was sent by the civilian Fole Association.....so these titles are doubtfull.....

I have seen several Brazil titles in collections. I believe that they did exist, as these titles were worn by members of foreign countries trained in Canada under the BCATP. Many were volunteers that were not originally afiliated with their own national air force. They had to wear titles of their representative country. I have seen piles of them, Trinidad, Jerzey, Swaziland, Nigeria, Barbados, BWI, British Guiana, B.L.A.V Kenya etc etc.... The list goes on! The authenticity of these two I am hesitant to say as I would like to see the back of them, but they look fine to me.
