    Is this a British Airborne paratrooper wearing a US M41 fieldjacket with added Pagasus sleeve patch + US pistol belt?
    Are my eyes deceiving me?

    You are right apart from the fact that the man is a Belgian SAS parachutist. The Belgian SAS were issued with some US kit. Even so, a guy wearing pegasus patches on a M41 jacket is not common.
