    RAF "Toronto" Wing

Recently discovered this wing, referred to as a "Toronto" wing by Warren Carrol in the pages of "Eagles Recalled." Thought I'd show it here. It's in fragile condition, but is in the best of care now

That is one interesting wing and thanks for posting it! It appears to have been executed on RAF blue worsted material rather than on blue/black felt as is normally encountered. The unusual shape of the wings themselves made me say "Toronto" the second the image came up for me, but of course, I have learned a lot of terminology from Warren, so I'm just repeating what he has said and written.
Again, I appreciate getting to see this one and am glad to know it is being cared for.
I hope to see more items that you've captured in the future.

A bit tatty maybe but a real beauty to those who care

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad you liked the wings, I'll be showing some more of my "rare" wings over the next little bit, including some RFC and a very early handmade service pilot!

Nice wing indeed! I am lucky enough to have one myself still attached to it's original 1918 RAF tunic

You Lucky Bugger! I wish I had one of those! You should post some photos, I know I for one would love to see it!
