Hi Steve, I think transfer from a parent Regt or Corps was the norm for many PTI's. My friend Don actually wanted to become a PTI but instead went into the Airborne. I can only guess about non airborne PTI's, as I don't have the Tables of Organisation, but I would think that they would be attatched likewise.

Hi Phil, sorry I don't have that info. I will try and track down a pic where they are all named then research would be easy enough.
