    Webbing strap

    Hi.

    I got this strap today.
A good clear stamp that reads DLC 1942 MkIV.
It is a 2" strap with on one side a loop and on the other side a 2" brass buckle.
Does anyone knows for what this strap was used?

    Many Thanks,
    Sipke

It seems to be a strap used by Stretcherbearers.
Both loops around the handles of the stretcher and then worn around the neck on the shoulders to help offset the weight of a wounded man.

    Many thanks though for looking.

        It's Canadian?
        Due to the makers mark?

Some one an idea about the stamp?
And does the stamp give it away that this is canadian made?

No C-Arrow so I would assume British.
