    signal corps parachute

    hi guys , i m a third reich collector but i ve just aquired this chute , its marked - signal corps parachute m-390-a cabc , 8127-wf-43 rest unreadable (it appears to have been blacked out) ending inday-44 , do not drop at airspeeds over 150 mph (this is in red), on the side is 5896-wf-43 ,final stamp is -part of scr-578-b the chute is packed and unused , the canvas is yellow and the chute inside appears to be yellow , the 2 metal fasteners on each side are attached to white canvas straps ,the rip cord is wire , any info would be very welcome

        does anyone know where i can find info on this chute ? i ve looked trough google and can t find anything! cheers Terry

          Maybe you should post in the US section. The lettering on the pack look very similair to the US style i seen on parachutes. A Britisch would probaly have a printed label.

                superb Ade i would have never have discovered that , i wonder how it ended up on its own in an old ladys house, ? many thanks Terry
