    Cadet Force battle dress help

I've got this wartime ( paper label feb 1941 ) battle dress with Cadet force insigna on it.
the battle dress is 100% original and good.
the question is, what is the cadet force, is this war time used and are the insigna original applied or postwar ?
I would realy like to know.
a point in the right direction is welcome !

gr Niels and thanks for looking

      Hi

The formation sign shown was worn by the Durham A.C.F. Bns. The khaki rectangle with the dark blue '1' would indicate the 1st Bn.

      Regards
      Arthur

Hi Niels, I do not have much info on the Cadet Force. But it was formed in 1942 and is still going strong today. Now called the Army Cadet Force. It provides young teenage lads with pre military training.

Your BD, I suspect, would have been worn by an adult instructor early postwar, as evidenced by the medal ribbons.

          Cheers, Ade.
