Greetings: That's a great example of a 3rd pattern,web chinstrap WW2 para helmet. It has great wear and character. Lots of use and no abuse. The paint on the outer shell is interesting and it would be nice to see it photograhed outside in the natural sunlight. From the photos provided,under the net it appears to be camo painted. Congrats!

thanks for the reply , the weather here is abyssmal , but managed to get a few pics outside, there is also something that looks like some numbers on front in paint
