No 9 Commando Question

A locally aquired small group of items No 9 Commando. Black Hackle, Black Lanyard, Shoulder Title and Photograph. I could not get any history or other details and my question relates to the Photograph. I was told this is the original owner of the items, but the image shows a different Lanyard and Shoulder Title, so just wonder if it is possible? Regards, Clive.

Photograph of original owner, but Lanyard and Shoulder Title different, any thoughts or ideas?

I think the photo is of a man from No.2 Commando.

Looks like the black and white lanyard to me. Doesnt mean this chap didnt transfer to another commando, so impossible to prove.

I`d like to hear the badge experts opinions on the shoulder title.

P.S. Would you mind if I sent the photo to a veteran of 2 Commando?

By all means forward the image to your veteran friend. I am hoping that all the items are ok, I have no reason to think otherwise. I guess your idea of transfer to one Commando to another could be possible, no way of my being able to prove this though. Regards, Clive.

Looks like a period example to me ,great photo is that his commando knife you can just see under his arm? Rob.
