was looking for an early Wolsey to use for my Royal marine tunic,

but got this old clunker! next best thing, no liner tho

but if any of you gurus can tell me abit more about it, and for Christs sake i hope its not a repo,

note, have been told that often these would get washed in sea water, when solders came home etc, might explain all the damage to the outside of the lid?

Time to break out the blanco and get the Wolsey back in shape.

Great example of what blanco was used for. I wonder how many hundreds of applications.

Definitely not a repo IMHO bur I am far from being a expert of this sort of kit,by any means.

I myself would leave it in that condition as it is nice and salty.

yes i was thinking of keeping it like this but keen to get a liner for it
