I have just part chopped another helmet for this one. Overall it doesn't owe me a great deal, but I am interested as to wether it is pre 1945. The first aid dressing is 1943 (I know, doesn't make the rest!) I have not seen this style of netting before. If it isn't pre 1945 then could someone please advise me as to what era it is as I understand this style of lid was issued up until the 70's. Finally, could anyone advise me as to what it may be worth? I have tried searching on the Tinternet but am not having much success.
