    Please, help with markings in a beret.

    Anyone could help me?
    I have kangol beret that has some faded markings...

    Hi Vic, there would also be a "W" next to the arrow I think? To form the "WD" markings for "War Department".

    The marks are inspection stamps. They can be found in most uniform items. I know of someone who has a list of these, which explains where and when they were done, but he will not share it

    My prized Red Beret worn by my friend Don at Arnhem has the very same markings
