    Is this a Canadian helmet?

Hi guys, I don't usually buy stuff outside of US and German militaria, but I saw this helmet in an antique store today and it really caught my eye because it seems to be in such great condition. They had it marked as Canadian. I'd love to know anything at all any of you could tell me about it, especially what the W might signify? Inside it's marked G.S.W. D.P.&H.. I paid $39 for it, hopefully a good deal.

Yes, it is Canadian and you paid a decent price.

Forgot to say, W probably stands for Warden.

Thanks for the comments. I never would have suspected it could stand for warden.
