HI there , I have recently been able to buy some personal documents, log books to a british naval officer who served with the SBS and copp units in the war the log book covering his beach recces in the far east some of his hand written notes contain lists of equipment to be sorted out /obtained prior to operations , silk maps welrods , action rations etc ,under the escape /survival section there are several comments regarding ` S U ` KITS ? ( to be carried on person ), also under general kit /equipment a ` mongoose` is mentioned several times can any one throw any light or offer an opinion please , hope you can help ,regards Michael.
