hi guys i ve just acquired 5 ww1 officers shoulder pips in metal , i don t collect this era is there any value to these or any collecting interest ? cheers Terry

There are many varieties of rank pips, from WWI to present day. They can be still had by the bag full for very little money I'm afraid. Pips and crowns abound on ebay and elsewhere, sometimes in large quantity.

Thanks kindly for your generous offer, however, it seems silly to send them all the way to Canada. Postage is likely to be more than their actual value. Perhaps a collector in the UK has a use for them? Surely someone has a uniform missing some pips!?
