Hi. I am trying to get info on the soldier R.S.M SA Mott. The uniform I have was made by "SHIRLBY BROOKS Ltd, Woolrich" and is dated 27/03/34. The tunic is a closed neck (collar hooks), four pleated pocket, five button style. Collar , button and shoulder insignia are for the ROYAL CANADIAN CORPS OF SIGNALS. The breeches are a lighter green cordaroy with re-enforced soft leather on the inside calves and lace-up ankles. Lace-up brown leather gators and a flat topped pre-WW2 visor. The uniform is of officer quality from stem to stern. The ribbon bars are, in order, "Mons star with metal rose device, the 2 WW1 war and victory ribbons,Long service and good conduct medal,Meritoious sevice medal and the Croix de guerre with palm. i tried the Canadian archives but no luck. I think he may have been a Brit during WW1. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I found nothing in the Canadian Archives online either... I do agree that this fellow is likely British as opposed to Canadian... try this link for the British Archives.
