    Khaki Straight Leg Trousers

I found these nicely marked khaki cotton twill straight legged trousers. Only two pockets along the seams and no rear pockets. Dated 1945. My question is: Are they standard British issue or something made for the U.S. Army?

Is that the Canadian Broad Arrow mark?

British and Canadian gear is outside my area of interest and my references are virtually nil. I didn't know there was a different Broad Arrow for British and Canadian gear. Seattle is close to the Canadian border and the manufacturer "Great Western Garment Co., Ltd." certainly suggests a Canadian company.

        It is.
        The trousers are canadian made.
These trousers are commonwealth army issue.
As they are not as warm as the wool trousers they are worn in tropical conditions like in north Africa.

Yes, these are Canadian made Khaki drill (KD) trousers. The broad arrow within the letter C is the Canadian military acceptance / property stamp. Canadian made KD uniforms were only worn in Canada and were used by both the army and the airforce. Canadians serving in Italy and other warm climates used British made KD uniforms.
